Mountain Hopping

After a lot of pensive deliberation, taking into account the concerns of family, friends, and strangers, I decided that trekking the country on foot solo is not practical. However, not to be defeated by the conservations of others, I have decided on MOUNTAIN HOPPING. Korea is 70% mountainous and has 20+ national parks. I will hike as MANY as possible. Mwa hahahahaha. This is my wonderful plan.

So, in the end, I will get my masochistic fill of athletic pain, but will remain on the living side of this world for those who are concerned with that part of it. I personally don't see the concern with it all, but I will appease people like my mother who does care.

Thus, I will head out to Sorak-san (aka: Seorak-san - A lot of things have double English spellings due to pronounciation and well, I think preference of how things are spelled; like Pusan can also be Busan, but it's the same city.) manana very early. San means mountain in Korean. It's supposed to be Korea's most beautiful mountain, I think the most famous/popular and very crowded during the busy season which is the fall when the foliage changes colors and is apparently the most beautiful time to go. However, I am here now and will go now. I'm sure it'll still be beautiful.

Yay! Mountain hopping.
