...doo doo doo...

I have been mulling around Seoul for a few days trying to figure out how to go about my trek. During this time I have noticed a few more things:

1) cell phones work underground & they have antennas (I believe so that they can pick up TV broadcasting to watch in transit)

2) rush hour... omg...make it 10x worse than NYC. one is likely to be trampled if you are going in the wrong direction

3) I haven't really seen any completely bald Koreans. Balding sure, but not completely bald. Good hair genes?

4) I don't think a person could ever go hungry in Korea or at least Seoul. The amount of street food that is everywhere and for REALLY cheap (even to my standards) is wonderful. Although a lot of stuff is sweet, and I'm amazed there are not more overweight Koreans

5) It's apparently Yellow Dust Storm season - this is when there are these dust storms from China that blow over into Korea and cover cars and people with a filmy dust. There are several people who walk around with masks.

6) subways are very clean in comparison to NYC. They are faster and more widespread too. They announce stops in Korean, Japanese, English, and sometimes Chinese.
